About Me

Casey Turczynski

I’ve been building with Swift since 2014, and I still love the process of turning ideas into real products.

  • I learned Swift my senior year of high school in 2014. It was my first coding language, and I loved it from the start.
  • I started by building simple block-collision games, then worked my way up to full-scale App Store products by my junior year of college.
  • I greatly enjoy the entrepreneurial process — taking an idea from whiteboard to wireframes to App Store launch. I’ve built multiple app-based startups of my own, and have also advised and developed for several others.
  • I graduated from UNC–Chapel Hill in 2019 with a double major in Computer Science and Statistics, plus a minor in Entrepreneurship.
  • Since then, I’ve had two professional coding jobs, with one year in between working as a bartender.
  • Outside of work, I enjoy working out, video games, pickup basketball, poker, and investing. I also consider myself semi-pro at foosball and cornhole.
